The Corsair Waterproof Light Performance Hiker is built for cold weather. This high-top utility boot is comfortably padded and contains 200 gram Thinsulate lining. Breathable and waterproof Dintex Waterguard membranes wick away moisture while shielding the foot from rain, sleet, or snow.

The natural rubber Shark Grip™ outer sole is slip-resistant for all-terrain traction and Phylon midsoles take the shock out of hiking for enhanced outdoor performance. Recently profiled in Bassmaster magazine.

Technical Features:
The DINTEX® “water guard” membrane manufactured into our lightweight hiker provides excellent waterproof & breathable properties to keep you dry and comfortable in outdoor adventures. Created as a high-performance TPU film, DINTEX® waterproofing creates a hydrophilic environment within the boot for rapid evaporation and dissipation of sweat moisture. It’s unnoticeable within your boot, yet it will withstand pressure above 10,000mm H20. (That’s about the water pressure 30 feet below the surface – so you’d have other worries than getting your feet wet at that depth!)

Our 200g Thinsulate® (from 3M) lining offers “warmth without bulk”, and retains it’s insulating properties even in damp conditions. With 1 to 1.5 times the insulation of duck down, these technical linings are much less water-absorbent and much more resistant to crushing – all with the goal of retaining heat, but allowing sweat vapor to dissipate.
